Gamasutra is now confirming executive producer Rich Vogel is no longer with BioWare. The amount of people affected by the layoffs are unclear at this time. BioWare announced this past May their plan to restructure the studio but we don\'t know if these layoffs were part of their plan.Rich Vogel played a large role in developing SWTOR, supervising all aspects of the game. He had worked at BioWare Austin for the past seven years. Gamasutra believes Vogel left the company before today\'s layoffs.Writing a story about layoffs is always unfortunate.
